Air Show Planning & Execution
Planning an air show is unlike any other public safety event. It requires integrating aviation operations, fire and EMS, law enforcement, emergency management, military leadership, hospitals, and dozens of supporting agencies into one operational plan.
For the past several years, I have led the planning and execution of the Navy's largest air show, with annual attendance of more than 300,000 spectators, while maintaining installation readiness. Those lessons led to my authorship of the IAFC Special Events Planning Toolkit, developed while serving on the IAFC Terrorism and Homeland Security Committee.
Whether you are preparing for an air show, a large public gathering, or another high-profile event, I can evaluate your plans, facilitate planning workshops, review Incident Action Plans, and identify gaps before event day.
